Hand decoration:
Marginalia: Marginal annotations in various contemporary hands and four small grotesque figures drawn in pen and ink in the margins.
Binding Description:
Bound in ninettenth century dark green morocco, gilt panelled back, gilt borders on sides enclosing on each cover centre-pieces, in gilt of the bear and ragged staff device of the Earls of Warwick and with the initials B.W., gilt inner borders, the edges rough gilt.

- Signature by John Langely (Folio CIxxvi.). This may be the grammarian, who died in 1657, or it may be his contemporary John Langely, M.A. rector of Tuderley, Hampshire, 1641.
- Signature by Robert Saunders, freeholder of Aylton (i.e. Elton) in Huntingdonshire, Thomas Blofelde and Thomas Gatte.
